Software Engineer- CPH Offshoring

Role Overview: You will be responsible for independently designing components, developing code, and testing case scenarios while applying relevant software craftsmanship principles to meet acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will participate in team ceremonies, deliver high-quality clean code, work with other development teams to define and implement APIs, and ensure timely communication with customers, stakeholders, and partners. Your role will also involve assessing production improvement areas, performing daily checks, suggesting automation for production activities, and assisting in developing guidelines for the team. Furthermore, you will be required to perform bug-free release validations, provide metrics, tests, and defect reports, as well as support level 2/level 3 production activities. Key Responsibilities: - Design components, develop code, and test case scenarios applying software craftsmanship principles - Participate in team ceremonies and deliver on all aspects of Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) - Work with other development teams to define and implement APIs and rules for data access - Ensure timely communication with customers, stakeholders, and partners - Assess production improvement areas and suggest automation for repetitive activities - Perform bug-free release validations and support production activities - Assist in developing guidelines and ensuring team practices them - Increase coverage of data models, data dictionary, data pipeline standards, storage of source, process, and consumer metadata Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of development experience - Strong exposure to Java and microservice architecture - Experience in the banking domain is an added advantage - Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process-oriented approach - Exposure to Agile methodology and Test-Driven Development (TDD) - Proficiency in SQL - Capability to work with customers and cross-location teams - Ability to work effectively in a team environment Additional Details: At Socit Gnrale, you will have the opportunity to be directly involved in creating a positive impact on the future.
