Software Engineer AWS

Role Overview: As a Lead Consultant - AWS, your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CDK. You will also provide support to inhouse Data Engineers and Data Scientists working on various usecases related to computer vision, artificial intelligence, GenAI, and machine learning. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop efficient and scalable solutions is a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for utilizing cloud technologies such as AWS, Databricks, or Google Cloud Platform to deploy and scale applications, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild, conducting unit testing and debugging, and identifying areas for application performance optimization and improvement. Furthermore, staying updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance software offerings and guiding team members in software engineering and cloud engineering best practices will be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CDK - Support inhouse Data Engineers and Data Scientists on various usecases - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop scalable solutions - Utilize cloud technologies like AWS, Databricks, or Google Cloud Platform - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild - Conduct unit testing, debugging, and implement observability solutions - Identify areas for application performance optimization and improvement - Stay updated with industry trends and technologies - Guide team members in software engineering and cloud engineering best practices Qualifications Required: - Multiple years of software development experience, preferably using Python - Strong knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Experience with serverless services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Sagemaker, IAM, ECS, VPC, Databricks, and vector databases - AWS Solution Architect certification, Associate level, or related certifications are a plus - Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication skills and the ability to gather and refine requirements - Broad knowledge of software engineering and cloud infrastructure best practices - Passion for staying current with industry trends and technologies Company Details: Wurth IT India, represented by Mrs. Deepa Sheelavant, is the contact person for this Lead Consultant - AWS position.
