Software Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, technical leads, and QA engineers. •
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development discussions.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing engineering culture.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, and sprint execution.

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Drive software architecture decisions for scalable cloud solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and software quality.
• Review technical designs and participate in code reviews.

Azure Cloud

• Design and manage cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions.
• Work with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
• Optimize cloud performance, reliability, and operational costs.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform preferred).
• Monitor production environments and ensure system reliability.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure applications comply with organizational security policies.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support audit, governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives

Preferred candidate

• 10-15 years of experience in software development with at least 3-5 years leading engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in

  Microsoft Azure Cloud

  , including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Service Bus.
• Extensive experience in

  C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Microservices Architecture

  .
• Proven experience building and managing

  CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

  .
• Strong background in

  Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and DevOps practices

  .
