Software Development Engineer, Test- III(Appium)

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for various platforms including: - Mobile apps using Appium - Web applications using Selenium WebDriver - RESTful and SOAP APIs using PyTest with requests Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing automated test cases as part of the CI/CD pipeline - Writing and maintaining reusable PyTest-based test suites for service-level validation - Collaborating with developers, product managers, and DevOps to define test coverage, quality goals, and release readiness - Troubleshooting test failures, performing root cause analysis, and logging clear and actionable bugs - Setting up and enhancing test reporting dashboards, test data management, and environment strategies - Contributing to building a test automation strategy and roadmap - Mentoring and guiding junior QA/SDET team members Qualifications required for this role: - 6+ years of experience in software test automation - Proficiency in Python, with solid experience using PyTest for automation - Strong hands-on experience in Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing using PyTest + requests - Good understanding of REST principles, HTTP status codes, and API authentication - Experience with CI/CD tools, version control practices, and test reporting tools - Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and working in Agile/Scrum environments It is nice to have experience with Dockerized testing, Django, microservices, performance testing tools, mocking/stubbing frameworks, cloud-based device farms, test case management tools, and PlayWright.
