Software Development Engineer II (Backend, Java)

As a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer, your role will involve focusing on the development of Java-based backend services within Azure. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based backend services for key business applications. - Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software development best practices. - Collaborating with product managers, architects, and frontend engineers to implement new features and enhancements. - Debugging and resolving application-level technical issues to ensure stability and smooth operations. - Conducting unit testing and participating in peer code reviews to uphold high code quality. - Engaging in the end-to-end software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java-based backend services. - Proficiency in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and familiarity with cloud-native development practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills to debug and resolve complex technical issues. - Strong fundamentals in Core Java, Advanced Java, Spring Framework (preferably Spring Boot), REST APIs, Database Knowledge (Relational DBs), Cloud Experience, Microservices Architecture, and Unit Testing / Code Quality tools like JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube. Your ability to clarify objectives, identify constraints, and deliver high-quality, maintainable code in dynamic situations will be essential for success in this role.,
