Software Development Engineer I (DevOps)

As a DevOps Engineer at Meesho, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the company's day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and high availability. You will lead cloud migration projects, collaborate with engineering teams to provide proof-of-concepts, and develop automation solutions to streamline operational processes. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining CI/CD pipelines, optimizing system architecture, monitoring system performance, and staying updated with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain BAU operations, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. - Lead cloud migration projects, transfer applications between different cloud service providers, and conduct POCs for new tools and technologies. - Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operational processes. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications across various environments. - Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system architecture for scalability and reliability. - Monitor system logs and performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures. - Stay updated with industry trends in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation. - Participate in rotational on-call duties for continuous operational support. Requirements: - Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and Perl/Bash. - Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Git, and ArgoCD. - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to Infrastructure and Systems. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
