As a Software Development Engineer (Cloud Technology) at ZEDEDA, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, focusing on designing and building microservices for the Edge Virtualization Controller (EVC) platform. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with other developers to enhance the distributed infrastructure of cloud services, ensuring quick bug fixes and feature implementations. You will have the opportunity to work on both transactional and analytical microservices while following an Agile development process. Additionally, you may also contribute to the open-source EVE project on the device side. **Responsibilities:** - Designing and developing microservices for ZEDEDA Edge Virtualization Controller. - Collaborating with device and cloud developers to enhance various layers of the distributed infrastructure. - Ensuring quick bug fixes and implementing new features for cloud services. **Qualifications:** - 4 or more years of programming experience. - Strong programming skills in modern languages like Golang, Python, or Node.JS. - Understanding of RESTful Services, CRUD operations, etc. - Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, InfluxDB, etc. - Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure frameworks like Nginx, Kafka, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, Docker, etc. - Proficiency with source version control systems like git, SVN, etc. - Experience with Unit Testing frameworks. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Additional Qualifications:** - BS in Computer Science or MCA is desirable.
