Software Developer Web

Role Overview: As a Software Developer at BNI's Global Information Technology Team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining company-owned web applications. You will collaborate closely with other developers and QA engineers based in the BNI office in Bangalore, as well as engage with various levels of BNI Management and Leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: - Support the entire application lifecycle including concept, design, coding, testing, release, and support. - Develop fully functional web applications by writing clean code end-to-end. - Approach the development lifecycle with testing in mind, focusing on Unit and Integration. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance. - Design interfaces to optimize user experience. - Adhere to quality standards and ensure continuous improvement. - Research and recommend new technologies, applications, and protocols to enhance existing applications. - Create prototypes for design concepts, mock-ups, and approved designs. - Simplify complex information into logical interfaces and flows. - Modernize web applications using knowledge and research to enhance user experience. - Collaborate effectively with a diverse team as a strong problem-solver. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. - Proficiency in English with exceptional oral and written communication skills. - 2+ years of experience in full stack Web Development. - 1+ years of experience in Vue.js, Vite, Vuetify. - 1+ years of experience in Node.js. - 1+ years of experience in MySQL. - Strong understanding of Test-Driven-Development and JS testing frameworks. - Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). - Proficiency in API integrations (REST, WebSockets). - Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Proficiency in at least one IDE for end-to-end web development. - Familiarity with Agile Project Management Methodologies like KANBAN/SCRUM. - Fluent in GIT. - (Desirable) Experience in Django rest framework. - (Desirable) Experience in Continuous Integration Pipelines. - (Desirable) Experience in Python. *Applicants MUST submit a portfolio with examples of work.* Additional Company Details: - This is a full-time position. - The job description may change over time, and duties and responsibilities may be subject to change without prior notice. - BNI is an equal opportunity employer.,
