Software Developer

Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating data visualizations and transforming data into meaningful dashboards and reports. You will analyze and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring the accuracy and optimization of reporting outputs, particularly through PowerBI. Your technical expertise will be essential in troubleshooting issues and maintaining data transformation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create

  data visualizations

  and transform data into dashboard/report outputs.
• Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Confirm accuracy of report outputs from DBA team, leveraging the end

  PowerBI

  report.
• Recommend

  Lake/PBI cube transformation

  revisions to optimize data accuracy for use in reporting efforts.
• Maintain reports and work with DBA team to troubleshoot issues to maximize accuracy.
• Maintain/update

  Excel sources

  leveraged to support data transformation.
• Debug technical issues with reports/data when they arise.
• Recommend and optimize

  PowerBI Dashboard

  logic.

Skills and Experience:

• 3-5+ years

  of experience with

  PowerBI visualization

  ,

  DAX programming

  , and

  Query Editor (M)

  .
• Knowledge of the

  insurance industry

  is a plus.

• Expert knowledge of SQL programming language
