Software Developer (CAD / CAM)

Role Overview: As an Application Developer for geometry based products at Vaal Triangle, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and developer testing of applications as per specifications. You will need to ensure that the programming code adheres to coding standards and be able to maintain and modify existing applications independently or under the direction of senior staff members. Additionally, you will perform maintenance programming for existing versions and updates for future releases. Occasional visits within India and overseas, especially the USA, will be involved for project discussions with other offices and customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and developer test applications for geometry based products - Ensure programming code adheres to coding standards - Maintain and modify existing applications independently or under senior staff guidance - Perform maintenance programming for existing versions and updates for future releases - Participate in occasional visits within India and overseas, especially the USA, for project discussions Qualifications Required: - Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering - Keen interest in technical and management aspects of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software development - Strong object-oriented programming skills (C++/C#) - Sound fundamentals of computational geometry - DotNET/COM experience highly desirable - API knowledge of 3D CAD software is a plus - OpenGL graphics programming experience recommended - 3D industry CAD/CAM software development experience is a plus If you are a highly motivated individual seeking challenging opportunities and looking for Mastery, Autonomy, and Purpose in your work, please reach out to us at hr@vaal-triangle.com or jobs@sigmanest.com.
