Software Developer 4

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

You will be a member of a team that is responsible for designing and building custom application/tools for enhancing Oracle's Cloud Business. You will collaborate with various global divisions to understand requirements and interact with software engineering and security engineering teams in order to design, develop, deploy and maintain custom applications that are robust, secure and scalable.Your responsibilities and qualifications will include:

• BS/MS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail to help the team drive creative business solutions, and innovations that improve user experience, product design, performance, resiliency, scalability, and relevancy
• Strong understanding of business, programming logic, standards, patterns, and algorithms
• Ability to customize and extend Fusion Applications, Oracle jet and SQL would be a big plus
• Experience in large-scale distributed cloud systems with understanding of the design principle of scalable cloud native Microservices
• Preferred knowledge/experience: Java, UI stack, Elastic Search, Grafana, Docker, & Kubernetes.
