Job Description

As a Software Developer at Oracle Health, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying distributed, scalable, multi-tenant Cloud Services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Your primary focus will be on integrating with FHIR-based healthcare systems and leveraging large language models (LLMs) for advanced data processing and decision support. Oracle Integration Cloud provides a no-code platform for designing and running integrations across various applications and information systems. As part of the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) team, you will work on cloud-managed services running on OCI, particularly focusing on the Connectivity component. This component enables seamless integration with healthcare data systems following the FHIR standard, as well as with other SaaS and enterprise applications across different protocols and networks. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the healthcare systems of Oracle Health to ensure smooth integration of clinical data with enterprise applications. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing cloud-native enterprise software products and services for healthcare applications using FHIR and LLM-based models for natural language processing. You will build FHIR-compliant integrations with Oracle Health's healthcare data systems, optimize for data integration with FHIR-based services, and focus on API-first design using OpenAPI and Swagger. As a part of the OIC Connectivity development team, you will be involved in system design, architecture, implementation, and support for cloud-native integrations. You will code in Java, leverage RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes, and work with prominent healthcare APIs and systems to facilitate healthcare data exchange. Additionally, you will implement message interchange formats and collaborate with JavaScript frameworks to create dynamic user interfaces for healthcare applications. To excel in this role, you are required to have a B.E./B.Tech/M.S./M.Tech in Computer Science, along with 3+ years of experience in cloud service development. Experience with LLMs, NLP, and integrating AI models into enterprise applications will be beneficial. Knowledge of healthcare standards like FHIR and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced environment are also crucial for success in this position. Join us at Oracle Health to contribute to healthcare innovation by integrating critical clinical data using FHIR and leveraging LLM-based AI solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.,
