Role & responsibilities

VB.NET 6.0 Software Developer

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using

  VB.NET

  on the

  .NET 6.0 platform

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional software components
  
• Design, code, test, and debug applications in compliance with project requirements and coding standards
  
• Work with

  SQL Server

  or other relational databases to manage data integration and storage
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers for seamless application delivery
  
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  
• Maintain existing legacy applications and assist in modernizing them to newer .NET versions
  
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and performance issues
  
• Support and maintain applications post-deployment by addressing bugs and user feedback
  
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in

  migrating legacy VB.NET applications

  to modern .NET Core or .NET 6.0
• Knowledge of

  Azure DevOps

  , CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to front-end technologies like

  JavaScript

• Familiarity with
