Job Description / Responsibilities * Review project specifications and drawings to develop a clear understanding of the scope of work Research and analyze data to develop an accurate estimate of material, labor, and other costs Utilize historical data, trends, and market conditions to inform cost estimates Develop pricing models for various types of projects Prepare detailed cost estimates for use in proposal development and contract negotiations Review bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accuracy and competitiveness Assist in the development of sales strategies by providing input on pricing and project feasibility Update and maintain cost databases Generate reports documenting estimate assumptions and methodology Present cost estimates to clients and project managers for review and approval Negotiate with clients and vendors to secure the best possible price Monitor project progress and revise estimates as needed Scrutiny of tender documents / Enquiry received Evaluating Enquiry/ tender documents, drawings, & schedules Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers Comparison Studies ba
