Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineering Specialist to join our on-site team at our Khimsar facility. This role involves hands-on material testing, process optimization, and ensuring product quality standards across our limestone-based product range. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a background in chemical or industrial manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine and advanced quality testing on the following materials: - Limestone - Quick Lime - Hydrated Lime Analyze and report on critical chemical parameters: - Total Available Calcium Oxide - Active Calcium Oxide - Calcium Hydroxide - Magnesium Oxide - Silicon Dioxide - Iron Oxide - Alumina - Sulfur - Loss on Ignition (LOI) - Reactivity (in ml) - Calcium Carbonate - Magnesium Carbonate Develop and refine testing procedures and quality assurance protocols. Collaborate with production and R&D teams to troubleshoot quality issues and optimize process efficiency. Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards. Document results, maintain accurate quality logs, and prepare reports for internal audits. Promote a culture of quality awareness across departments. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering or a related technical field. Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Working knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and laboratory safety practices. Effective verbal and written communication skills for interdepartmental coordination. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience with material testing equipment and analytical tools will be an advantage.
