Bala Mandir , a leading NGO, has launched the Kinship Care Program —one of the first of its kind in India—aimed at supporting children affected by COVID-19. Through this initiative, Bala Mandir is currently assisting over 2,500 children under the age of 12 across 15 districts of Tamil Nadu . The Kinship Care Program is designed to help children cope with the trauma of losing a parent(s) and enhance their ability to thrive. As part of this effort, Bala Mandir is establishing ‘Virtual Homes’ where dedicated field social workers provide holistic and continuous support for each child’s development at the district level. We are currently looking for a field social worker based in or around Tirupathur . The ideal candidate would be: A Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience , or A graduate with strong field experience in social work.
