Position Overview

Unicent School, Kompally Campus, is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Studies Teacher to teach Grades 3–6 under the CBSE Curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Social Sciences, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to engage young learners through innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Social Studies lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Develop engaging teaching materials, activities, and assignments to enhance student learning.
Integrate technology, project-based learning, and experiential methods to make Social Studies interactive.
Assess, evaluate, and report on student progress in a timely and constructive manner.
Maintain an organized, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Prepare students for school assessments, examinations, and co-curricular competitions.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure curriculum implementation.
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs as required.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Social Sciences, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.
Teaching Qualification: B.Ed. (Mandatory).
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in CBSE curriculum at the primary/middle school level.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Social Studies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and motivating classroom environment.
Proficiency in integrating technology into the teaching-learning process.
