The TGT Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Studies to students in middle and secondary school (classes 610). The candidate must plan and deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, promote critical thinking, and instill social awareness and civic responsibility among students. The teacher should create a positive learning environment and align teaching with CBSE curriculum standards. Key Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured lessons in History, Civics, Geography, and Economics as per curriculum. Prepare and implement lesson plans, assessments, and teaching aids. Use interactive teaching methods (e.g., maps, activities, discussions, digital tools). Evaluate student progress through tests, projects, and assignments. Maintain student records and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Foster a positive classroom environment that supports active learning and discipline. Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects or school events. Participate in school functions, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Ensure completion of the academic syllabus within the stipulated time frame. Promote social values, democratic principles, and ethical thinking through teaching.
