Job Overview

If youre a creator who understands the social media algorithm like a cakewalk, thrives on trends,

and knows how to build online communities that engage, this role is made for you.

As our Social Media Manager, youll drive Turtlemints organic social strategy, overseeing daily channel ops, content planning, performance tracking, and platform innovation across Instagram and YouTube.

Youll work closely with Marketing, Brand, Content Creators, Performance Marketing, PR, and CX to ensure our social presence delivers business impact and community love.

At Turtlemint, social isnt just pretty posts—it’s about educating, inspiring, and empowering millions with stories that matter, from advisors changing lives in small towns to customers making informed financial decisions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage Turtlemint’s social channels (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and

more).

  • Build and execute strategic content calendars aligned with brand priorities, product launches,

and cultural moments.

  • Collaborate with copywriters, content makers, Video teams and designers to create

platform-native, thumb-stopping content.

  • Spot and jump on trends fast, whether it’s a trending reel format or a viral conversation that aligns

with our voice.

  • Partner with influencer marketing to create impactful collaborations and creator-led campaigns.
  • Track and analyse platform performance, share insights with the team, and adjust strategies for

better engagement and reach.

  • Experiment with new formats, features, and creative storytelling to keep us ahead of the curve.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-4+ years as a Social Media Manager for a consumer brand (CPG, fintech, or service-based

brands preferred).

  • Proven track record of growing channels organically and increasing engagement.
  • Expert knowledge of Instagram and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of content algorithms, platform analytics, and audience psychology.
  • Experience working with influencers and creators.
  • Creative thinker who can blend education and entertainment seamlessly.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with insurance, fintech, or BFSI sectors.
  • Video editing or scriptwriting skills for short-form content.
  • Understanding of vernacular content and regional social trends in India.
