About the Role We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital communication, storytelling, and community engagement. The intern will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving audience engagement. Key Responsibilities Content Creation: Assist in developing, curating, and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok). Social Media Strategy: Contribute ideas to social media campaigns and strategies to increase brand awareness and follower engagement. Community Management: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across platforms; engage with the audience by responding promptly and thoughtfully. Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare weekly/monthly reports to assess campaign effectiveness and audience behavior. Trend Research: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to implement innovative content strategies. Collaboration: Coordinate with the design, marketing, and content teams to align on brand voice and promotional objectives. Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proficiency in major social media platforms and tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Creativity and a keen eye for design and aesthetics. Basic understanding of social media metrics and analytics. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
