As a Sr. Software Engineer I, Tech Lead at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of Zinnia software platforms. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will work towards developing solutions that meet the needs of Zinnia's internal stakeholders and clients, ultimately enhancing efficiency and service quality. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior team members, conducting technical reviews, and providing ongoing support for Zinnia platforms. Working as part of a global, cross-functional team, you will contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, and efficient code for Zinnia platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with global teams, internal stakeholders, and customers, while also being adaptable to the challenging development and delivery needs of Zinnia. Additionally, you will be expected to architect, design, develop, and validate various requirements for Zinnia platforms, demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. To excel in this role, you should have 7-11 years of experience in Backend technology, specifically Java, J2EE, and Spring in a cloud environment. Proficiency in NoSQL databases, Event-driven architecture, and Domain-driven design is essential. Your patience, perseverance, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in overcoming challenges and adapting to changing business needs. Effective communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills are required to work collaboratively within a global team. Ideally, you should hold a BTech / BE / MCA / MTech / ME or equivalent qualification from reputed institutes. Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOPS), design patterns, Java 8/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SOA/Microservice Architecture, REST, Git, Maven, and Docker will be advantageous.
