Job Description

As a skilled Snowflake Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for playing a key role in developing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions on the Snowflake cloud platform. Your expertise in Snowflake, along with a solid understanding of ETL processes, data engineering, and data processing technologies, will be essential for designing and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and data warehouses with a focus on scalability and efficient data storage. Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses on the Snowflake cloud platform to ensure effective utilization of Snowflake's features for scalable, efficient, and high-performance data storage and processing. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines on the Snowflake platform, as well as leveraging PySpark for data transformations within the Snowflake environment to implement complex data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design data solutions aligned with business requirements and engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring and optimizing data storage, processing, and retrieval performance in Snowflake, leveraging Snowflake's capabilities for scalable data storage and data processing to ensure efficient performance. To excel in this role, you should have 5 to 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong emphasis on Snowflake, proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses on the Snowflake platform, and strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for data storage and performance optimization. Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala for data processing and transformations, experience with ETL processes, and familiarity with data modeling techniques and designing efficient data schemas for optimal performance in Snowflake are also required skills for this position.,
