Job Title: Snowflake Developer Location: Mumbai, India Experience: 7-10 Years Mandatory Skills : Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), and Python Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Snowflake Developer to join in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, advanced expertise in Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), and Python, along with a passion for solving complex data challenges. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake and DBT to support advanced analytics and reporting needs. Build and optimize scalable, robust data models and transformations in Snowflake. Develop custom scripts and automation workflows using Python for data integration, validation, and monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization in Snowflake environments. Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data systems. Stay updated with the latest Snowflake, DBT, and Python advancements and integrate them into existing processes. Required Skills: Snowflake: Hands-on experience in building and managing data platforms, advanced SQL, performance tuning, and optimization. DBT (Data Build Tool): Expertise in developing and managing data models, version control, and testing frameworks. Python: Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks, scripting, and API integration. Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating various data sources into Snowflake. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/Confluence. Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 4 years of focused work in Snowflake, DBT, and Python. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
