Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer Location: On-site, India Role Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data models in Snowflake. Create and manage ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake. Perform data migration and validate data integrity throughout the process. Develop SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and load operations. Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to understand data needs. Optimize performance of data pipelines and Snowflake environments. Ensure best practices for data governance and compliance are followed. Monitor and troubleshoot data issues in Snowflake and provide timely resolutions. Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for all processes. Stay updated with new features in Snowflake and implement them as necessary. Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members. Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage project timelines. Review and analyze business requirements to ensure data solutions align with business objectives. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the data architecture. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Strong understanding of Snowflake and its architecture. Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes. Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages. Ability to design data flows and workflows to optimize data processing. Experience with data modeling and database design. Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality. Knowledge of data security and compliance standards. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
