As a Social Science Teacher at our educational institution located in Coimbatore, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons to students at different grade levels. We have three vacancies available for Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-10. Each teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a deep understanding of social science topics such as history, geography, civics, and economics while creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement. For the Grades 3-5 position, your primary responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging social science lessons tailored to young learners. You will be expected to foster a positive classroom environment that supports student development and learning, using age-appropriate methods to simplify social science concepts and assessing student progress through quizzes, assignments, and projects. In the Grades 6-8 role, you will develop and deliver comprehensive lessons in history, geography, and political science. You will be required to utilize various teaching methodologies to enhance critical thinking and analytical skills, assign homework, evaluate student progress, foster discussions, and encourage exploration of different viewpoints. For the Grades 9-10 position, you will plan and deliver in-depth lessons in history, economics, political science, and sociology. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and monitoring student progress through assessments and examinations, encouraging classroom discussions on current events and social issues, and preparing students for board exams while ensuring academic requirements are met. To be considered for any of these positions, you must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree, have a minimum of 4 years of relevant teaching experience at the respective grade levels, and preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related field.
