1. Teaching the assigned subject and fulfil the responsibility of a subject teacher. 2. To have expert knowledge of the subject. 3. To peruse relevant opportunities to grow professionally and keep up to date about the current knowledge and research in the subject area, attend various seminars, workshop and training sessions. 4. To provide opportunities for students to access and use current technology, resources and information to solve problems, also to apply and practice what is learnt. 5. To engage students in creative thinking and integrated or inter disciplinary learning experiences. 6. To build students to work collaboratively with others. 7. Responsible for schools teaching and learning policies. 8. Follow micro schedule, monitor notes, completion of lesson plan, report spill over to vice principal/HOD’S. 9. Check class work, home learning activity meticulously and provide feedback to the students and vice principal. 10. Assist the class teacher in all manner, be respectful and assertive. 11. Review inadvertent spill over in lesson plan and aid Vice Principal in re-scheduling the classes. 12. Motivate students for high achievement and inculcate strong moral values. 13. Executing daily activities during teaching, teach out of the classroom, encourage experiential learning. 14. Respect the child’s ability and pace of learning. 15. Teach using auditory, visual and kinaesthetic techniques. 16. Carry out substitution duties without denial and extend fullest co-operation with Vice Principal in all aspects of academic and administrative issue, be a good team member and work beyond the call of duty when necessary. 17. Maintain professional practice standards and quality of teaching and learning process. 18. Maintain good rapport with colleagues, students, provide leadership and resolve disputes. 19. Update ERP. 20. Promote productive discourse among students’ and develop cordiality, let children experience the taste of success. 21. Implement safe school policy and promote hygiene in the classroom and beyond. 22. To model honesty, fairness and ethical conduct. 23. Develop and maintain a learning focused classroom. 24. Demonstrate high level of relevant curriculum knowledge. 25. Be involved in extracurricular activities to enhance the school experience for learners including residential excursion boarding duty. 26. Handle preparatory, remedial and all special classes as per school policy diligently and use the time to enhance learning experience of gifted students and support others.
