SME I - Semiconductor Product Validation

You will be working independently to leverage your product knowledge in order to provide functional component ownership with technical and product expertise for the team. Your responsibilities will include acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the validation team, understanding customer expectations to provide solutions that create customer delight, coordinating effectively with the team, and performing technical interviews for project requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to writing test cases for the product, validating the accuracy of test cases, performing validation and root cause analysis, and attending customer meetings to effectively communicate requirements and results. It is essential to learn the technology and business domain system individually and as recommended by the project/account and complete certifications for the role. Measures of outcomes will include adherence to schedule and timelines, defining productivity standards for the project, and completing all mandatory training requirements. You will manage project tasks and deliverables with quality, estimating time, effort, and resource dependence for your work and for others" work, creating component level/product behavior documents, test reporting templates, BKMs, and knowledge sharing documents for the team, and reporting status of assigned tasks. Moreover, you will comply with validation standards and processes, mentor junior leads and POCs, host training sessions for junior validation engineers, understand project requirements, and hire the right candidates. Your skills should include good presentation and diplomacy skills, bug advocacy skills, automation scripting skills, severity and priority identification abilities, estimation skills, test performance and evaluation expertise, teamwork capabilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge examples that are expected include understanding the product lifecycle and deadline, possessing excellent domain knowledge, good CPU/GPU architecture knowledge, and thorough knowledge of the product. The role requires proficiency in Validation, Python, and Linux.
