As we expand into India and build out a new operation, we're searching for Software Engineers from all different specialisms – front-end, back-end, test automation, ops, infrastructure – who are interested in working across these disciplines long term and building a wide skillset, with the opportunity to work across multiple teams and products. You Will Contribute to the entire development life cycle, from concept to release Participate in system architecture discussions Implement new features and improve the ones we have already built Maintain existing service API and develop new ones Participate in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution Interact with systems engineers to debug infrastructure problems Actively use AI tools to improve personal and team efficiency across coding, testing, design, and troubleshooting, exploring AI integration opportunities within team processes and features, and coaching others on effective AI use Perform other duties as assigned You Have Experience with one of Golang, Java, C or a C-style language, or Node.js Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and CSS pre-processors (front-end engineers) Experience with Object Oriented design Familiarity of Microservice Architecture Familiarity with Linux system command line preferred Experience building scalable, high availability applications BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis Fluency in English is required Nice To Have Experience with DynamoDB and other non relational databases Experience with relational databases like MySQL Experience with AWS, and/or AWS qualifications (AWS Developer, AWS Solution Architect) Experience with Docker Experience with service orchestration tools e.g. k8s, HashiCorp Experience with linux debugging commands like tcpdump and strace Get To Know Us At Smartsheet, your ideas are heard, your potential is supported, and your contributions have real impact. You will be responsible for managing candidate, employee, and office operations. You must enjoy the challenges of supporting diverse people and programs. You will need to remain flexible and efficient. You will be office-based in Bengaluru and report to the Site Director and Vice President of Engineering . You Will Provide administrative support to Site Leader Be the liaison for employees and building management; coordinate access, reserve conference rooms, maintenance and other building operations and services Manage procurement process for new vendors and inventory to support India office administration Lead travel and visa process for visiting and sponsored employees Manage shipping services for all incoming and outgoing business related packages Plan and execute end to end candidate and employee experience events onsite in partnership with relevant Smartsheet teams. Assist HR and IT with onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors Build and be the Smartsheet India cultural ambassador and programs aligned with Smartsheet’s core values by recognising and developing an inclusive culture. Smartsheet is looking for a Data Scientist to help guide analyses, create predictive and prescriptive insights, and influence decisions. With thousands of subscribing organizations and millions of users there is lots of opportunity to make a meaningful impact and increase growth through analytics within Smartsheet. You are curious, have strong data science and machine learning skills and the ability to communicate key insights effectively. You will work primarily with Marketing and Engineering and will be a part of Smartsheet's Business Intelligence team. You Will: Partner with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams, understand their goals, and execute on opportunities to draw relevant insights and drive tangible impact Develop and implement advanced predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning algorithms to drive marketing and product decisions Understand our customer needs and design metrics to analyze how our customers are using product and optimize products and features Conduct experiments, causal studies and A/B tests to measure the impact of marketing and product Leverage data to understand product performance and to identify improvement opportunities Complete the full analytics lifecycle from understanding the business objective and understanding the data to developing automated reporting and visualizations Effectively present analysis to teams and give data-based recommendations to encourage data-driven decisions, assisting in product ideation and feature launch decisions Think strategically on how to scale your work Identify areas for further investigation Drive a data culture within the Product, Marketing and Engineering teams You Have: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience (or 7+ years of experience) Extensive knowledge and practical experience in several of the following areas: machine learning, statistics, NLP, deep learning, recommendation systems and experimental design Proficient analytical skills for problem solving; can perform descriptive analysis, diagnostic analysis, predictive analysis and prescriptive analysis. Strong programming skills in Python or R Proficient in SQL and skilled in visualization tools (ex.
