SLIDING HEAD MACHINE SHOP MANAGER

As a Sliding Head Multi-axis CNC Programming specialist at our US MNC client specializing in multi axis precision machining, your role will involve developing and optimizing CNC programs for various sliding head machines such as Turn Mill, VMC > 5-axis machining centers, and Multi axis sliding Head using CAM software. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize Complex CNC programs on Multi axis (12 axis) machines using CAM software for new part development. - Review and validate technical drawings, conduct feasibility studies, analyze design specifications, blueprints, and production requirements to determine the feasibility of precision machining components in terms of tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing cycle times. - Develop and optimize Complex CNC programs for new parts development on Multi axis machines, Turn Mill, VMC, 3 axis / 5-axis machining centers, and Multi axis sliding Head using CAM software (Espirit). - Selection of appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices for each machining operation. Qualifications Required: - 15 years of experience in precision machining programming & part development with low tolerances of up to even 5-10 microns. - Proficiency in Multi-axes CNC complex programming for providing end-to-end solutions from concept stage to development including tools & fixture selection. - In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining process optimization analysis. - Working knowledge of CAM/ESPIRIT software. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and optimizing CNC programs for precision machining components, ensuring high quality and efficiency in production processes.
