The Role: Mission & Impact As the Pre-Sales Manager for Video Conferencing, you will be the technical and strategic bridge between our sales team and our clients. You are not just a demo-giver; you are a trusted advisor who uncovers business challenges and architecturally designs solutions that prove tangible value. Your expertise will be critical in winning complex deals, differentiating our offerings, and ensuring customer success from the first interaction. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Demonstration · Lead the technical discovery process to deeply understand client needs, existing technology stacks, and business objectives. · Architect and design tailored video conferencing solutions, including room systems, software licenses, network requirements, and integration points. · Execute compelling, high-impact proof-of-concepts (POCs) and customized demonstrations that address specific client pain points and use cases. · Showcase advanced features like AI-powered capabilities (noise cancellation, transcription), interoperability, analytics, and security protocols. Technical Sales Support · Partner closely with the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial qualification to final technical closure. · Develop and present technical proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and high-level architecture diagrams. · Answer complex technical and functional inquiries, effectively addressing security, compliance, and scalability concerns. · Act as the key technical voice in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Enablement & Strategy · Serve as the product expert and evangelist for our video conferencing portfolio. · Train and enable the sales team on new features, competitive differentiators, and demo techniques. · Gather customer feedback and work with Product Management and Marketing to influence future product strategy and roadmap. · Develop and maintain pre-sales collateral, including demo scripts, battle cards, and technical whitepapers. Qualifications & Experience Required: 3 +years of experience in a pre-sales (Solutions Engineer/Architect) or technical sales role, specifically within video conferencing, unified communications, or collaboration technology. · Deep, hands-on expertise with at least two major video platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex, Google Meet). · Proven experience designing and demonstrating solutions for meeting rooms (huddle, mid, large), executive briefing centers, and all-hands spaces. · Strong understanding of network fundamentals relevant to video (QoS, bandwidth, latency, firewalls) and audio/video technology (codecs, SIP, H.323). · Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage both technical evaluators and C-level executives. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Highly Desirable: · Experience in a channel sales or partner ecosystem environment. · Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
