Role Overview: As a Lead II - Semiconductor Product Validation at UST, you will play a crucial role in driving functional and integration-level validation for virtual platforms using Simics. Your responsibilities will include leading a team to validate complex SoC/IP models, ensuring alignment with architectural specifications, and facilitating pre-silicon development and firmware bring-up. Key Responsibilities: - Lead validation of virtual platforms developed using Simics, with a focus on functional accuracy and integration fidelity - Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and regression suites for SoC/IP Simics models - Collaborate with model developers, architects, and firmware teams to define and track validation coverage - Perform debug and root cause analysis for simulation mismatches and functional failures - Automate validation flows using scripting languages such as Python and Bash and integrate them into CI pipelines - Maintain test repositories, logs, reports, and dashboards - Drive improvements in validation methodology, tooling, and coverage metrics - Mentor junior team members, ensuring knowledge sharing and process compliance Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in validation or embedded systems, with at least 2-3 years in Simics or virtual platform environments Additional Details of the Company: At UST, we are dedicated to helping the world's best organizations grow and succeed through transformation.
