Description
As a Simics Validation Lead at UST, your role will involve leading the validation of virtual platforms developed using Simics. You will be responsible for ensuring functional accuracy and integration fidelity of complex SoC/IP models by developing and executing validation plans, test cases, and regression suites. Collaboration with model developers, architects, and firmware teams to define and track validation coverage is crucial. Additionally, you will perform debug and root cause analysis for simulation mismatches and functional failures, automate validation flows using scripting languages such as Python and Bash, and maintain test repositories, logs, reports, and dashboards. Driving improvements in validation methodology, tooling, and coverage metrics, as well as mentoring junior team members for knowledge sharing and process compliance, are also part of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead validation of virtual platforms using Simics, ensuring functional accuracy and integration fidelity - Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and regression suites for SoC/IP Simics models - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and track validation coverage - Perform debug and root cause analysis for simulation mismatches and functional failures - Automate validation flows using Python and Bash, and integrate into CI pipelines - Drive improvements in validation methodology, tooling, and coverage metrics - Mentor junior team members for knowledge sharing and process compliance **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field - 8+ years of experience in validation or embedded systems, with at least 2-3 years in Simics or virtual platform environments At UST, we believe in humility, humanity, and integrity.
