Job Summary: We are looking for a proficient Accountant with solid knowledge of GST and TDS regulations to manage our financial accounting, taxation, and compliance processes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GST and TDS laws, preparing tax returns, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Tax Invoice, E-way Bill and filling process. Maintain accurate accounting records including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and receivable with attention to GST and TDS implications. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) timely and accurately in compliance with government regulations. Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS as per applicable laws and prepare TDS returns. Reconcile GST and TDS accounts regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies. Follow up for payment & carry customer outstanding MIS report. Maintained Inventory Stock Journal (coil, Finished Goods, Scrap). Prepare financial statements and reports incorporating GST and TDS adjustments. Maintain and update accounting software and systems. Liaise with external auditors for GST and TDS verification during audits. Maintain updated knowledge of accounting software capable of handling GST and TDS compliance (e.g., Tally) Educate and assist internal teams on GST and TDS compliance requirements.
