Company Overview Silver Marketing is a dynamic firm specializing in the distribution of readymade garments. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Computer Operator and Accountant to join our team. Position: Accountant Cum Computer Operator Location: MG Road, Indore Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities • Billing and Invoicing: • Prepare and manage invoices for all sales and transactions. • Ensure accurate and timely billing to clients and vendors. • Accounting Tasks: • Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents. • Perform daily bookkeeping activities such as recording sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed. • Data Entry: • Accurately enter and manage data related to sales, inventory, and financial transactions. • Ensure all records are up-to-date and organized for easy retrieval. • Ledger Management: • Regularly update and reconcile ledgers to ensure accuracy. • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections. • General Computer Tasks: • Manage and operate computers for various business activities. • Maintain digital records, back up data, and troubleshoot minor technical issues. • Administrative Support: • Provide general administrative support including handling correspondence, managing files, and organizing documents. • Additional Responsibilities: • Perform tasks beyond the listed duties as required to support the business operations. • Collaborate with other team members and assist in various tasks to ensure smooth business operations. Skills and Qualifications Technical Proficiency: • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word). • Ability to operate basic computer systems and troubleshoot minor technical issues. • Attention to Detail: • High level of accuracy in billing, data entry, and financial record-keeping. • Organizational Skills: • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work based on urgency. • Numerical Ability: • Strong aptitude for numbers and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. • Communication Skills: • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members. • Adaptability: • Willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing business needs.
