As a Software Test Engineer for the Image Signal Processor (ISP) used in Google Tensor, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing software tests across a variety of environments. Your expertise will directly impact the innovation behind products that are cherished by millions worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute software tests for the Image Signal Processor (ISP) on various platforms, from bare metal to embedded Linux. - Collaborate with pre and post-silicon teams to validate tests and provide comprehensive documentation for easy usage. - Debug failures by working closely with cross-functional teams, including boards, software, manufacturing, design, and thermal departments. - Functionally validate and parametrically characterize the silicon by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams, external silicon partners, and intellectual property (IP) vendors. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 3 years of experience with C programming language, Linux, debugging tools, test validation, emulation, portable software on silicon. - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture (preferred).
