Key Responsibilities:1. Machine OperationOperate Laser Cutting and CNC Routing machines to cut, engrave, or shape materials such as acrylic, ACP, MDF, PVC, and other substrates. Interpret and execute jobs based on design files (CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or DXF formats). Load and unload materials safely onto the machine bed. Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and zero-point setting before cutting. 2. Quality Control & Output AccuracyCheck dimensions and finish quality against the approved design or sample. Conduct quality checks to minimize material wastage and maintain precision. Maintain a clean edge finish and correct engraving depth. 3. Maintenance & UpkeepPerform routine checks and preventive maintenance of laser tubes, lenses, bits, and filters. Report any mechanical or software issues immediately to the Production In-Charge. Ensure machines are properly shut down and maintained after each shift. 4. Documentation & CoordinationMaintain daily machine logs for output, running hours, and breakdowns. Coordinate with the design team for file clarifications and layout corrections. Update supervisors about job completion status and material consumption. 5. Safety & EfficiencyFollow all safety protocols while handling machinery, materials, and tools. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure smooth workflow. Required Skills & Competencies:Strong technical knowledge of Laser and CNC machines (e.g., AXYZ, Mehta, or similar brands). Ability to read and interpret DXF/DWG files and design layouts. Basic computer skills to operate control software. Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail. Time management and ability to work under tight deadlines. Team coordination and communication skills. Qualification & Experience:Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Fabrication or equivalent. Experience: 1–3 years in signage or related fabrication industry preferred. Software Knowledge: CorelDRAW, AutoCAD (basic), RDWorks / Mach3 / or machine-specific software.
