Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful News Reporter to gather, investigate, and present timely, accurate, and engaging news stories to the public. The ideal candidate will have strong journalistic instincts, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering factual and impactful information across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities: Research, investigate, and verify news leads and tip-offs. Conduct interviews and gather facts to develop comprehensive stories. Write clear, concise, and compelling news reports for print, broadcast, and digital media. Present news stories on camera or live at the scene, if required. Collaborate with editors, photographers, videographers, and other newsroom staff. Monitor current events and stay updated on local, national, and international issues. Ensure all reporting complies with legal, ethical, and editorial standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. Proven experience as a reporter or journalist is preferred. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong research and fact-checking abilities. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in using digital tools and newsroom software.
