The Store Cashier will be responsible for providing high-quality service to customers, including processing transactions efficiently and accurately. Daily tasks include handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, maintaining records of transactions, ensuring the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift, and addressing customer inquiries. Additionally, the Store Cashier will assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Adhering to all store policies and providing a friendly and professional atmosphere for customers are also key responsibilities. Qualifications Proficiency in cash handling and transaction processing Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with inquiries effectively Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively Basic math and computer skills Good communication skills with customers and team members Previous experience in a cashier role or retail environment is a plus High school diploma or equivalent
