Position Summary Looking for skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to take a lead role in managing our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a proven track record of handling complex financial tasks. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and payments. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. Assist with tax filings and external audits. Follow-up and handle compliances of : GST, TDS, ROC etc. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred: Experience in the Real Estate industry.
