We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in building and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will work closely with our design and marketing teams to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the performance and stability of our websites. Key Responsibilities Website Development: Assist in developing, testing, and deploying new WordPress websites and features. Front-End Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, responsive, and functional user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript . Theme & Plugin Management: Install, configure, and customize existing WordPress themes and plugins (e.g., Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce). Basic Customization: Perform modifications to WordPress themes and templates, often involving minor PHP and CSS adjustments. Maintenance & Support: Conduct routine website maintenance, including core, theme, and plugin updates. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic technical issues, bugs, and website performance problems. Optimization: Assist with basic performance optimization (e.g., image compression, caching setup) and ensure websites are mobile-responsive. Collaboration: Work with designers and content creators to ensure project requirements and visual standards are met. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar web development role. WordPress CMS: Strong working knowledge of the WordPress CMS, including the dashboard, post types, users, and general settings. Core Web Technologies: Foundational proficiency in: HTML5 and CSS3 (Sass/LESS familiarity is a plus). JavaScript (Basic DOM manipulation and jQuery). PHP (Basic understanding of WordPress loops, functions, and template hierarchy). MySQL (Basic database concepts). Responsive Design: Experience implementing mobile-first and responsive web design principles. SEO basic: Knowledge of technical SEO best practices. Tools: Familiarity with a version control system, preferably Git . Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication. Preferred (Bonus) Skills Experience with a page builder like Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder. Familiarity with Linux, open source softwares. Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and debugging tools. Exposure to WooCommerce for e-commerce sites. A portfolio demonstrating live, responsive WordPress projects. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
