Role Overview The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving patient footfall, building strong referral networks, and promoting the hospitals eye care services across the assigned territory. This role requires regular field visits, relationship building with external stakeholders, and outreach activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads for consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic services. Key Responsibilities A. Business Development & Lead Generation Conduct daily field visits to optical stores, general physicians, ophthalmologists, clinics, and corporate offices to build partnerships and referral channels. Promote key hospital services such as cataract surgeries, retina services, LASIK, glaucoma care, pediatric ophthalmology , etc. Generate leads for walk-ins, camps, surgeries , and track conversions. Meet monthly targets for referrals, revenue contribution, and new partnerships . B. Relationship Management Maintain strong, ongoing communication with optical partners, doctors, health centres, societies , and other referral sources. Address partner concerns promptly and ensure smooth coordination for referred patients. Build long-term relationships to increase repeat referrals. C. Community & Outreach Activities Plan and execute eye camps, screening programs, awareness sessions , and community outreach initiatives. Coordinate with internal clinical teams for camp setup, logistics, and patient flow. Ensure accurate collection of patient data from camps and monitor follow-up conversions. D. Corporate & Institutional Tie-ups Approach corporates, schools, senior citizen groups, NGOs , and housing societies for collaborations. Promote preventive eye check-up packages and organize on-site screenings. Support the onboarding process for corporate panels or TPAs if applicable. E. Market Intelligence Conduct competitor mapping and gather insights about pricing, services, and market trends. Share weekly market updates and suggestions for improvement. Identify new business opportunities within the territory. F. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily visit reports (DVR), sales trackers, referral logs, and lead conversion data. Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to the management. Ensure proper documentation related to tie-ups, partnerships, and outreach activities. Skills & Competencies Required Technical & Functional Skills Basic understanding of eye care services and medical terminology (training will be provided). Strong sales and negotiation skills. Ability to plan routes, manage field schedules, and meet targets. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong relationship-building ability. Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven. Good presentation and networking skills. Tools & Technology Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Comfortable using CRM tools, mobile apps, and digital reporting systems. Qualifications & Experience Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferably Marketing, Business, or Healthcare Management). Experience: 1-5 years of experience in field sales , healthcare , pharma , or eye care preferred. Languages: Proficiency in English and local language(s). Work Environment & Requirements Extensive field work; must be comfortable traveling across assigned areas. May require working on weekends for camps or awareness activities (with compensatory off).
