You will be joining the dynamic team at SHREEMAHAVEER HOME DECOR PRIVATE LIMITED, a prominent manufacturer and exporter of home textile products with a strong presence in the USA and European markets. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end merchandising operations within the home furnishing industry, specializing in cotton and microfiber bed sheet sets. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the entire merchandising cycle, from product development and costing to sampling, bulk production, and shipment. It will be essential to ensure that products are competitively priced, adhere to global quality standards, and are delivered within agreed timelines. Effective communication with international buyers, buying houses, and liaison offices in the USA and European markets will be key to your success in this role. You will drive supplier development and capacity planning strategies to meet production targets, handle fabric and trims procurement efficiently, and coordinate activities with internal teams and external stakeholders. Monitoring Time and Action calendars and overseeing fabric sourcing, price negotiations, and vendor allocation will be crucial aspects of your role. Leadership skills will also be important as you will be leading a team of junior merchandisers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Utilizing ERP tools, preferably SAP, for data accuracy, real-time tracking, and planning will be an integral part of your daily tasks. Key skills required for this role include product development, costing, home textile export merchandising, TNA and PCD management, fabric and trim sourcing, buyer communication, ERP/SAP system knowledge, team leadership, and coordination. Exposure to the USA and Europe markets, excellent communication, and negotiation skills will also be necessary.
