Role Objective: Drive business growth by aggressively developing new clients, increasing tank occupancy, and expanding market presence in Bulk Chemicals, Edible Oils, Petrochemicals, and Other Liquid commodities. 1. New Business Development (Primary Role) Identify and target new customers: importers, exporters, traders, manufacturers, and logistics companies. Generate leads through market visits, networking, industry platforms, and port intelligence. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to convert leads into business. Build a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent tank occupancy. 2. Market Research & Analysis Track market trends for bulk chemicals, edible oil, petrochemicals, and specialty liquids. Monitor competitor tank terminals: pricing, capacity status, new developments. Identify high-demand products and potential volume-generating clients. 3. Pricing, Proposals & Negotiation Prepare competitive storage rates, handling charges, and commercial proposals. Negotiate terms for new contracts and renewals with clients. Support management with pricing strategy and revenue planning. 4. Client Relationship Management Develop long-term relationships with key clients and ensure repeat business. Act as single point of contact for all commercial queries. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding tank status, vessel schedules, and service support. 5. Coordination for Business Onboarding Work closely with Operations, Accounts, Documentation & Port teams to ensure smooth client onboarding. Follow up on agreements, documentation, billing, and compliance. 6. Revenue Growth & Reporting Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual business targets. Maintain MIS reports: enquiries, leads, conversions, occupancy, revenue forecast. Present market updates and business progress to management. Qualifications Marketing Strategy, Campaign Management, and Brand Awareness skills Market Research and Competitive Analysis experience Content Creation, Copywriting, and Digital Marketing expertise Relationship Management, Communication, and Interpersonal skills Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from data Proficiency in relevant tools and software for marketing tasks Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred Experience in the logistics or manufacturing sector is an added advantage
