Principal will be responsible for overseeing the Academic, Administrative, and Operational Functions of the Physiotherapy College. The role requires a seasoned academic professional with a strong background in physiotherapy education, research, and practice. The Principal will lead the institute to achieve its academic goals and foster a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, and clinical practice. Qualifications: - A Master Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT). - A minimum of 03 to 07 years of Academic Experience in a Physiotherapy Institution, including significant leadership roles. - Proven experience in curriculum development, affiliation processes, and academic administration. - Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills. - Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment. - Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of undergraduates in Physiotherapy. - Ensure the highest standards of academic quality, curriculum, and instructional delivery. - Foster a collaborative environment for faculty, students, and staff, promoting interdisciplinary research and innovation. - Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty members, ensuring continuous professional development and academic excellence. - Oversee faculty workload, performance evaluations, and promotions in line with university policies. - Encourage faculty involvement in scholarly activities, clinical practice, and community service. - Student Engagement & Success: - Enhance student learning experiences by integrating innovative teaching methods, practical training, and clinical exposure. - Oversee student admissions, advising, and support services, ensuring high retention and graduation rates. - Strategic Planning & Administration: - Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and development of the Physiotherapy institute. - Collaborate with university leadership, other departments, and external partners to align departmental goals with the institute mission. - Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance the departments reputation.
