Has to maanage opd / ipd , consulting the patient , Responsibilities: Outpatient Department (OPD) Management: Conduct thorough medical consultations for walk-in and scheduled OPD patients. Take detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order appropriate diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, etc.). Accurately diagnose and formulate treatment plans for various acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide health education, preventive care advice, and lifestyle modification counseling to patients. Refer patients to specialists when necessary and ensure proper follow-up. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Inpatient Department (IPD) Management: Manage and provide comprehensive medical care to admitted patients, including daily rounds and progress monitoring. Review patient medical history, current symptoms, test results, and vital signs to adjust treatment plans as needed. Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions according to established protocols and patient needs. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions within the IPD. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Ensure proper discharge planning and follow-up instructions for IPD patients. Patient Consulting and Communication: Establish a strong rapport with patients, listening attentively to their concerns and addressing them comprehensively. Explain medical conditions, treatment options, and potential risks/benefits in clear, understandable language. Provide empathetic and supportive care to patients and their families. Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities and stay updated with the latest advancements in General Medicine. Contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. Assist the Pharmacy In-charge in dispensing medicines and medical supplies to patients and hospital departments. Maintain order and cleanliness in the pharmacy. Check and record expiry dates in the register and inform the In-charge. Monitor and document refrigerator temperatures.
