Key Responsibilities● Research, conceptualise, and write content across multiple formats - long-formstories, social media captions, scripts for videos, explainers, and vox pop● Create content across themes such as informal settlements, redevelopment, humanstories, schemes and policies, and on-ground experiences● Adapt writing style and tone for different social media platforms● Collaborate closely with the design, video, and strategy teams to ensure content alignswith the overall narrative and campaign goals● Conduct secondary research to support factual, data-driven storytelling● Develop creative hooks, taglines, and story arcs that connect the content with peopleand promote relatable, authentic engagement● Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand tone and visual identity● Track and adapt content based on performance insights and audience feedback. Minimum Qualifications● Graduate in any field (English, Journalism, Public Policy, Urban Studies, orrelated disciplines preferred)● 1-2 years of professional writing experience, ideally in media, communication, ordevelopment storytelling● Strong command over English and Hindi; familiarity in regional languages isdesirable● Excellent research and editorial skills with the ability to simplify complex topics● Understanding of social media content styles - captions, hooks, reels and video scripts. Preferred Skills● Prior experience in digital content creation, journalism, or public communicationcampaigns● Interest in storytelling that bridges ground realities and informative discourse● Ability to write on awareness of urban issues, governance, or public developmentthemes for different audience type● Familiarity with SEO and platform algorithms to optimise content performance.
