Your main responsibilities Requirement Identifying cost saving opportunities by using 3D costing software. (apriori) Should be able to visualise the Mfg. Process and able to simulate with 3D software. Support to Finance & sourcing team to Identify optimum Cost manufacturing process by using 3D Costing software. Provide Inputs to R&D team during project Design phase to Cost optimise Mfg. process. Thorough understanding of Zero-based costing Know how on various market indicators for raw material prices and X change rates. Define Product target cost through benchmark with other zones and Should Costing methodology. Sound technical knowledge and experience in sourcing & development of Mechanical products like sheet metal, cast/machined, plastic, etc. Proven track record of successful cost out project completion, realized cost out. Should have good knowledge on different product design tools environment like CAD, Creo, SAP. Sound technical knowledge of common manufacturing processes. Price negotiations with suppliers What you bring Education Mechanical Engineer Optional: CMA (Cost & Management Accountancy) Profesisonal Skills SAP and Creo parametric Should costing tool; aPriori/ DFMA/ Costimator Excel based costing. Knowledge of different commodity Parts cost estimation and analysis. Automobile / Elevator industry exposure Power Bi / Data Analytics Professional experience Minimum 5 ~ 8 years of experience of Costing with the Support of 3D software (aPriori) Zero Based costing for various commodities Like Sheetmetal, Plastic, rubber, Casting, Forging etc. Know-how of various manufacturing process and tool designs, selection of tools etc. Sourcing & Supplier development experience Key Competencies Knowledge of different commodity Parts cost estimation and analysis aPriori/ DFMA/ Costimator, SAP and Creo parametric Whats in it for you?
