Shopify Headless Developer

As a Senior Hydrogen Developer specializing in Shopify headless development, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain e-commerce websites using Shopify's Hydrogen framework. Your role will involve collaborating with designers, CRO specialists, and marketing teams to construct high-performing, scalable websites for a variety of brands. You will be tasked with developing and optimizing headless storefronts utilizing Shopify's Hydrogen framework to ensure they are responsive, high-performing, and user-friendly. Working closely with UI/UX designers, CRO specialists, and marketing teams, you will translate design concepts into functional web applications and implement features that enhance conversion rates and customer engagement. In addition, your duties will include integrating APIs and services such as Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and other tools to enhance functionality and ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems. You will need to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while employing testing methodologies like unit testing and end-to-end testing. Monitoring performance metrics, addressing any issues proactively, and staying updated on the latest Shopify, Hydrogen, and headless commerce technologies will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be expected to mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and optimize internal processes to maintain high development standards. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you identify and resolve technical issues, provide support for production incidents, and implement necessary fixes. Furthermore, your proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Typescript, Remix, Tailwind CSS, Git version control, server-side rendering, static site generation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes will be essential for success in this role. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and possess at least 5 years of professional web development experience. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are prerequisites for this role. Previous experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives will be advantageous.
