As a passionate Shopify Developer at our growing women's wear brand, your primary responsibility will be to enhance, maintain, and scale our online store. You will play a crucial role in customizing and maintaining our Shopify website, including themes, layouts, and apps. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing new features to enhance user experience and boost conversion rates. Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing website speed, responsiveness, and SEO to ensure a seamless and efficient online shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize any disruptions to the website's performance. Collaboration with the design and marketing team will be essential to align the website with the brand's requirements and maintain a cohesive online presence. To excel in this position, you should possess at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Shopify development and demonstrate a strong command of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your expertise in Shopify theme customization and app integration will be critical in enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of our online store. A basic understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and familiarity with e-commerce best practices are also essential to drive the success of our online business. Moreover, knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and good communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration in our fast-paced environment. While experience in fashion/apparel e-commerce websites, familiarity with SEO best practices, and an understanding of UI/UX principles are advantageous, they are not mandatory requirements.
