The Designer-Architect will be responsible for leading architectural and spatial design for museum, experiential, and event-based projects across India. This role demands a blend of creative storytelling, technical proficiency, and project management skills to transform concepts into visually stunning and structurally feasible environments. The Designer-Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop designs from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives, aesthetic direction, and budgetary constraints. Key Responsibilities1. Conceptual and Architectural Design · Develop and present original design concepts, spatial layouts, and visual narratives for museums, exhibitions, and immersive spaces. · Translate creative briefs into functional architectural drawings and visualizations. · Ensure the integration of storytelling, technology, and aesthetics into design solutions. · Collaborate with content, creative, and lighting teams to build cohesive design narratives. 2. Project Planning and Execution · Oversee design development from concept to execution stage in collaboration with the Project and Engineering teams. · Prepare detailed working drawings, construction documentation, and BOQs. · Monitor on-site progress to ensure execution aligns with approved designs and technical specifications. · Ensure timely delivery of project milestones within budget and quality parameters. 3. Client Engagement and Presentation · Participate in client meetings and present design concepts, layouts, and 3D visuals for approval. · Gather client feedback and implement revisions while maintaining creative integrity. · Build and sustain strong client relationships through professional communication and timely deliverables. 4. Coordination and Team Collaboration · Coordinate with cross-functional departments — Projects, Procurement, Lighting, and Fabrication — for seamless execution. · Liaise with vendors, consultants, and technical partners to align design intent with practical implementation. · Support junior architects and designers through guidance and review of outputs. 5. Quality Assurance and Standards · Maintain design accuracy, aesthetic quality, and compliance with building codes and project standards. · Conduct internal reviews and site audits to ensure adherence to approved drawings. · Drive first-time approval success for client submissions. 6. Innovation and Technology Integration · Explore and apply emerging technologies in design — including AR/VR visualization, DMX lighting integration, and projection mapping. · Research materials, fabrication techniques, and sustainable solutions to enhance project impact. · Encourage experimentation within the team to create cutting-edge experiential designs. 7. Project Management and Reporting · Develop and track design schedules using MS Project or equivalent tools. · Prepare weekly progress reports and status updates for management reviews. · Support tender and bid documentation through drawings, technical inputs, and BOQs. 8.
